Dave Mills

Dave grew up in Montreal and is thankful for the love of his parents and the many volunteers who ran a youth program in his city. Tireless volunteers who ran retreats and camps he attended during very trying, traumatic teenage and early young adult years. Because of their consistent love and care, Dave found the grace to be changed and transformed to live life to the full.

 

As an outgrowth of their belief in Dave, Dave found his purpose in helping people across many generations.

Dave has spent the past 30 plus years serving in the areas of guidance, school advisor, consultant, violence prevention coordinator in the high school system as well as a youth and university specialist in Montreal area churches and has been a featured speaker at conferences, retreats and conventions.

 

Dave had the honour of opening and starting a non-profit drop in day center, “Heart For The City” for the homeless in downtown Montreal and in its first 2 years, served as its first director.  

 

Dave blends his ability to tell stories with his unique humorous style to passionately share life and inspire the generations as he believes changed people have the capability and ability to change their world for good!
