ABOUT DAVE
Dave, who grew up in Montreal, is grateful for the unwavering support of his parents and the tireless volunteers who ran the youth program in his city. These selfless individuals organized retreats and camps that provided stability and guidance during Dave's tumultuous teenage and early adult years. Thanks to their steadfast love and care, Dave was able to find the strength and grace to overcome his challenges and live life to the fullest.
Driven by others' faith in him, Dave dedicated the past 30+ years to serving his community in diverse roles, including guidance counselor, school advisor, consultant, and violence prevention specialist in high schools. He has also worked as a youth and university minister in Montreal-area churches, and has been a featured speaker at conferences, retreats, and conventions.
Dave founded and served as the first director of "Heart For The City," a non-profit drop-in day center for the homeless in downtown Montreal. In its first two years, the center provided critical services to the local homeless population.
With his captivating storytelling and distinctive humor, Dave passionately inspires others to transform their lives and make a positive impact in their world.
Dave and his wife Kelly live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
