Forward Friday.... Encouragement Quotes For The Spirit.. Progress 2023..

This Time...Has...Been.. Tough... Even though a lot of areas of life seem to be returning to some sort of normal, we are 3 years away from the beginnings of a true mess that shook up almost every corner of the globe...... And the reverberations of struggle, pain, frustration exist even now.

Even for those who seem to be the "Strong" ones and seem to be able to handle anything, sometimes, life and in this case, the past 36 plus months have caused even the best to have some deep breath moments.

Forward Friday thoughts were born out of conversations by phone, over coffee and some Facetime chats and once again, it got me to thinking about how we need to be encouraged to have a healthy dose of courage to keep moving forward in our journey of life.

We need courage to be able to walk through this season of life and all the seasons of life that come our way.

Who do we walk life with? In every moment of life, we need friends that are committed to encouraging us in the walk of life with strength, resilience and hope. To not be afraid to think on our own, to walk with those aren't afraid to stand tall even when others may run for cover.

Let's Get Into This!

We Can Move Forward!!

Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another.

Problems are not stop signs; they are guidelines.

The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity, the optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.

It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave one is not the person who does not feel afraid, but who conquers that fear.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved

If one dream should fall and break into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again.

Instead of giving yourself a reason why you can’t, give yourself a reason why you can.

Sometimes you don’t realize your own strength until you come face to face with your greatest weakness.

We are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream..

Being content doesn't mean we're perfect. It just means we've decided to look beyond the imperfections.

Disappointment to a noble soul is what cold water is to burning metal; it strengthens, tempers, intensifies, but never destroys it.
If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.
Don’t let today’s disappointments cast a shadow on tomorrow’s dreams

If you’re betrayed, release disappointment as soon as you can; that way, bitterness has no time to take root.

There’s always failure. And there’s always disappointment. And there’s always loss. But the secret is learning from the loss, and realizing that none of those holes are vacuums.

Anytime you suffer a setback or disappointment, put your head down and plow ahead..

The size of our success is measured by the strength of our desire, the size of our dream, and how we handle disappointment along the way

God is the only source of hope that'll never disappoint. When we place our faith in him, he provides joy, peace, and hope that overflows..

As we work towards our goals, disappointments may slow us down, but they don't have to keep us down

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try.

Many people are afraid to dream big. They are reluctant to hope for too much because they don't want to be disappointed. As a result, they satisfy themselves with the mundane.

God is the only source of hope that'll never disappoint.

When we place our faith in him, he provides joy, peace, and hope that overflows.

Patience produces character, and character produces hope. And this hope will never disappoint us.

Courage is needed and those we walk with can help us grow courage!

I'm thankful for the friends that encourage me to swim upstream! Yours too I hope!!
