Motivational Monday Final Thoughts.. The Blind Spot... The Dirty Little Dance Of Anger...

So it's pretty clear because we are human that we will make mistakes... but if we can begin the work of not just trying to manage our anger but to figure out the root causes for why we've been losing it and work at getting better, everyone wins.

Someone wrote that when the dealt the "why" instead of the "how" in their life, everything changed so for us, we can be successful in our lives when it comes to dealing with the "Dirty Little Dance Of Anger!"

Here's to a better week, filled with a little less (a lot less) anger, a little more hope, a little better breathing and a few more smiles..

A few more thoughts to help us start our week off right!!!

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; we are the ones who gets burned!

Do not let our anger lead to hatred, as we will hurt ourselves more than we would the other we are angry at.

Beneath anger, there are hurt feelings

If we get angry easily, it may be because the seed of anger in us has been watered frequently over many years, and unfortunately we have allowed it or even encouraged it to be watered

For every minute we are angry, we lose sixty seconds of something good.

Holding to anger, hurt or pain is not worth it. They steal our energy

How much more critical, severe are the consequences of anger than the causes of it.

Hot heads and cold hearts never solved anything

Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is their credit to overlook an offense

The wise person will find it cheaper to pardon than to be bitter, hold a grudge. Forgiveness saves the expense of anger, the cost of hatred, the waste of spirits

We cannot say, “We cannot help having a bad temper.” we must learn help it. Pray for help to help us overcome it at once, for either we must kill it, or it will kill us. We cannot carry a bad temper into heaven.

To a better week!!

Dave
