Motivational Monday: Post Thanksgiving Thoughts To Get The Week Off To A Great Start…

As the wrap up to American Thanksgiving/Black Friday concludes and we now head into the Christmas season, it is important to consider being thankful and grateful for where we are, who we are.

It may not be easy sometimes when trouble comes our way, loss, sadness, frustrations etc but we must consider being thankful even in the little things.. It really does make a difference...

So here are some great quotes and thoughts to get our week off to a great start!!

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it

We would worry less if we praised more. Thanksgiving is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction

The way to develop the best that is in a person is by appreciation and encouragement.

No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks

Silent gratitude isn't very much use to anyone

The world has enough beautiful mountains and meadows, spectacular skies and serene lakes. It has enough lush forests, flowered fields, and sandy beaches. It has plenty of stars and the promise of a new sunrise and sunset every day. What the world needs more of is people to appreciate and enjoy it.

I may not be where I want to be but I'm thankful for not being where I used to be.

Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to us, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than our current situation.

At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.

If a fellow isn't thankful for what he's got, he isn't likely to be thankful for what he's going to get.

Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns; I am thankful that thorns have roses

It's a sign of mediocrity when we demonstrate gratitude with moderation.

Be grateful for what we have and stop complaining-it bores everybody else, does us no good, and doesn't solve any problems.

He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.

To a great week of being Thankful!!!

Dave
